If they gather at LAX, preparing to board a plane to the afterlife, then it becomes a bit more ambiguous/abstract. And he didn't say this but i will: it would also playfully suggest that their destination might be the island - that they're going into the light.neilshyminskyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14745442660488961314noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36331360.post-22082271048912162822010-05-25T06:58:13.598-04:002010-05-25T06:58:13.598-04:00Spambots: so often capable of beauty.
There's...Spambots: so often capable of beauty.

There's nothing here I can disagree with. Half-baked perhaps, but spot-on nonetheless.

I'm going with "the show was so hopeless at points that we needed the finale to remind us that hope and love exist and that the characters really care for one another And maybe the whole afterlife thing was the only way to pull that off."

Hurley, Sawyer, Kate and Claire are the only original cast members not brutalised by the Island, right? Walt too, I guess, but he's been off the board for a while. Rose, Bernard and Vincent are okay, but my point before it gets any more diluted: that's one hell of a body-count! Enough for me to forgive (haha) how Christ-centric the imagery ended up being. And I imagine they leaned so heavily on that stuff more for its accessibility than as a declaration of intent.Jameshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14740669500899738381noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36331360.post-822054948885024992010-05-25T01:23:43.381-04:002010-05-25T01:23:43.381-04:00I want to stay lost forever.I want to stay lost forever.Discount couponshttp://www.mdeals.innoreply@blogger.com
